RadarOnline reports that a New York jeweler has teamed up with a restaurateur to bake & encrust the birthday cake with loose diamonds worth over a million dollars. The goal is apparently to break the record for the most expensive cake ever made which was 1.65 million dollars.
Dear girls all over the world, I think we’ve all learned a very important lesson in “How to make it in America.” Sorry, HBO but you got it all wrong with your series. Take notes and maybe then I’ll watch Season 2 of How to Make it in America.

UPDATE: Kim K herself just addressed the million dollar cake as a rumor on her blog.
“I’m seeing some ridiculous rumors today about a million-dollar birthday cake being made for my ‘birthday party.’ First of all, this is the first I’ve heard about this, and I would never allow anyone to spend that much money on a cake. However, I gotta give credit where credit is due and this past Sunday’s episode of one of my favorite shows - How to Make in America has definitely made me a fan of Lake’s two Bells.
